Litsea cubeba. A traditional medicine from Borneo
From the remote villages of Sarawak, we proudly bring you this traditional medicine, Litsea cubeba.
The Borneo variety is more citrusy in flavor and has been used traditionally to boost energy levels to fight fatigue. Local villagers add the berries to soups and stews or boil the berries straight up to make a tea. Our source of Litsea cubeba is from wild trees that grow in the highlands of Sarawak. Hand picked and sun-dried by local villagers, the sales will go a long way towards empowering them to save their forests in the Heart of Borneo. |
